Happy
September 4th, 2008Well, for the past few days the internet was out. So, I’ve been watching the Food Network pretty much nonstop. It kept making me hungry. I like the competition shows, too. I never knew there could be excitement and suspense in food, but there is. I didn’t even want to work on my layout because my internet was down. It’s like no internet, no draw? Yeah, whatever. I’m getting kind of tired of looking at this boring crap.
I really want to buy The Nighmare Before Christmas on DVD, but I don’t want to pay $25 for it. I mean I can afford it, but I don’t want to. I have it on VHS from when it origionally came out, but DVDs are just more handy now.
I can’t wait until I go back to Arkansas to get my Thanksgiving food. I’m ready for duck and dressing. Bobby’s coming home with me. It should be nice. I hope. My parents still haven’t told my granny. I have a feeling she’s going to take it bad. Oh well.
I graduate in 4 weeks. I’m so excited. I’m kind of tired of the same old thing day after day with all the hundreds of guys and almost getting hit by cars in the parking lot because 99% of them are immature ricer 2gay2curious wannabes. They all think they’re going to make something of themselves and work in these big nice dealerships when half of them are too arrogant to pay attention. They think because they can put a bolt on on their car and some how manage not to completely ruin the system, they’re effing smart. Half the guys in my class fart during class. There are a few very smart classy guys that attend UTI, and I’m actually happy for them. The guy I sit by in class is one of those smart ones. He pretty much keeps me sane and calm in my class. He seemed impressed by the fact that I knew which 351 was in my car. Hell, he even liked my car. He said he hadn’t seen one in ages and I was like, “yeah, I know, no one liked them and I can’t see why.” I mean I know it was a new body style and everything, but it’s still cool. I think I would be devistated if something were to happen to my baby. I think I would even go as far as killing someone that intentionally hurt it. I need to convert it to disk brakes so that it can stop better and be all around safer. Disks are also easier to replace. I’m not sure which route I’m going to go when it comes to restoring it or making it a drag-type car. I’m also going to do an engine… well… an EVERYTHING swap on my everyday driving car. It’ll be RWD when I get done with it. I’m waiting until the warrenty is up before I do anything. I’m also waiting until Bobby and I move to Pass Christian/Gulfport, MS or Pensacola, FL. Not sure where we’re moving at the moment. I just know it will probably be one of those locations. Anything on the coast is good enough for me. =] I’m just ready to be out of Texas. In June, I’ll be in Arizona for 15 weeks. That will be a change in scenery… and heat. I just hope it’s not as obnoxious as Houston is.
